Adapter allows you to use your clamp on tank with a threaded valve.
With this adapter a new Fleck 5600 valve can be installed on your tank.
You will also need to add a matching Brine Pickup Tube ( either the FP60002 or BP1002 ) and about 4 feet of 3/8" brine line tubing.
The Fleck Valves require either a pipe yoke ( 3/4" or 1" male plastic ) Or a By Pass ( 3/4" or 1" female stainless steel ) to connect to your housing plumbing.
We include a bottom and top distributor which each new valve order. This allows you to construct a new distributor tube for your resin tank out of 3/4" PVC pipe ( it's O.D. is the 1.05" required ). Your old one will be too short with the adapter.
NOTE: This Adapter is not recommend if you are on "city" water and the pressure is not regulated to 75 psi or less. If pressure is higher than 75 psi, we recommend replacing the Resin Tank to a standard threaded tank and then you can re-use the Resins, and Install a Fleck or Autotrol Valve.
